デルタ航空にクレーム！ 到着予定のWhite Plains がキャンセルされ、車で1時間半ほど遠方の Newburgh へ到着地が変更になってしまった！
予期せぬ事態発生です。
天候のため、ニューヨーク近郊のWhite Plains への到着がキャンセルされて、付近の空港へ到着地変更！
空港の名前も、聞いたこがない、Newburgh !!
よく天候で到着地が変更となったことはよく聞くものの、自分がそうゆう事態に遭遇するとは、、、、
どうなるんだろうと、途方に暮れていると、シャトルバスを手配して、車で White Plains へ送ってくれると。
時間にして、１時間３０分！！
しかし、待っても、待っても、バスは来ず。タクシー分乗、リムジン分乗から、始まりました。
なんとか、乗り込んで、結局、White Plains へは、予定より３時間も遅れてしまった。。。。
濃霧で、やむを得ないというのは、わかるんですが、それなら、キャンセルして、代替エアラインを探したかった。
そうすれば、３時間も遅れることはなかった。
ということで、クレーム！！もちろん、ネットです。
３日後に回答が来ました。

I understand the frustration you experienced when our flight was unable
to land in White Plains. When the flight left Detroit, it was expected
to arrive as scheduled. Unfortunately, the weather changed and the
change in destination was necessary for the safety of our passengers and
crew. I am truly sorry your plans were adversely affected and you had
to take a taxi from the airport. Feedback like yours will help us to
improve our overall customer experience. Be assured your comments will
be shared with our Airport Customer Service leadership team for internal
follow up.
While we normally do not provide reimbursement due to weather related
situations, as an exception based on your SkyMiles loyalty, I have
requested a $26.00 check. Pleas allow up to 30 days for processing and
mailing.
